BAND CAMP!!!!!! Next week we WILL be having a modified version of Band Camp. We will be meeting in sectionals at the assigned times. These sectionals are required, just like Band Camp has been for all grades in the past. Please bring some water as we might be practicing outside. School water fountains are off limits.
Junior High Band: If you are a Junior High student and you cannot make it to your assigned time, you MUST contact me and schedule a make-up time for that week. Woodwinds and Brass are only required to come to one sectional, percussionists will meet 3 times. khasewinkle@cusd10.org
High School Band: Most of you will be meeting 2 times (Wed/Thurs) except the percussionists who will meet 3. Please bring any and all folders, lyres, music, etc... that you have that pertains to HS Band.

Friday, August 14th - NO BAND CAMP
Supplies: It is even more imperative that ALL students have the appropriate supplies to start school.
Clarinets and Saxophones: REEDS, Reed Holders (these allow the reeds to breath and will help them to keep from warping and molding), cleaning supplies Brass: You must have YOUR OWN oil, slide grease, etc... If you are playing a school owned instrument, you must still have your OWN oil. Percussionists: You must bring a pair of your OWN snare sticks.
I will have some of these supplies on hand and can order more. If you KNOW that you need something, please e-mail me so I can get them ASAP.
Junior High Students will need to purchase Book #3 and will receive that information during their sectional.
