We are happy to announce Lawrence County Health Department is offering a new after school program called “The Bee Hive”. This program will be offered Monday-Friday from 3p.m.-6p.m. while school is in session. The targeted age for this program is 11-17, with flexibility for students 6-10 on an as needed basis. The purpose of this program is to offer a safe environment for students to go at the end of the school day while offering various educational experiences, and help.

There will be snacks, activities, and homework help offered daily.  This will also be open all day on days when school is closed but the Health Department is open, such as Christmas Break and Spring Break. It will be located at The Ivy Center, directly behind LCHD.

If you are interested please get an application from Mrs. Roark to complete and return to her. Once applications are processed, you will be contacted by the LCHD with further information.
