The Patriot’s Pen is a VFW sponsored essay competition giving students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme. The 2021-22 theme was “How Can I Be a Good American?”
This year’s local winners from Lawrenceville’s VFW Post 2244 are as follows:
1st place - Kenna Thacker (8th grade)
2nd place - Ollie Fisher (7th grade)
3rd place - Trent Benson (8th grade)
