SUMNER ATTENDANCE CENTER
STUDENTS OF THE WEEK
September 14 - 18
Grade 4
Oakley Palmer
Oakley is respectful, positive, and polite. He is inquisitive and eager to learn every day!
Grade 5
Douglas Vandermelon
He has been showing active participation in class every day. He asks questions, answers prompts, and talks through ideas with the class and the teacher. I can see how his confidence is growing in class with his student peers and how his imaginative personality is coming out, allowing him to be more comfortable with his work tasks and his surroundings.
Grade 6
Alexandria Hall
Alex is always kind to others, enthusiastic about learning, always working hard in class, helping other students if they get stuck, asking critical thinking questions whenever she needs help, and, most importantly, she is learning how to become an advocate for how she learns best! She uses her voice respectfully to say what she needs to be successful in the classroom and is always willing to work, always putting her best foot forward. Way to go, Alex!
