Introducing Silas Parrott, a dedicated senior with a heart of gold!
Silas has been an active participant in football, wrestling, band, Interact Club, and FCA throughout his high school journey. One thing Silas will miss about high school is his best friends, with whom he's shared countless memories over the past 12 years.
His academic achievements include being on the Superintendent Honor Roll, High Honor Roll, and being a part of the National Honors Society. Mrs. Lasswell holds a special place as Silas's favorite teacher, not just for her teaching but for her kindness and passion for faith. His favorite high school memory is homecoming week, a time filled with joy and camaraderie.
Through high school, Silas has learned the value of living in the moment and not taking things for granted. He's especially proud of his comeback in football, showing resilience and determination. After graduation, Silas plans to start at OCC to earn his transferring degree, then head to the University of Illinois to pursue a degree in Accounting. Meet Rylee Caughran, a dedicated senior with a passion for service and learning! 🌟 Throughout high school, Rylee has been actively involved in FFA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honors Society, Student Council, and served as Senior Class Treasurer.
Rylee has consistently received High Honors awards for all four years and is proud of maintaining a high GPA while juggling work and extracurricular activities. Her favorite high school memory is from Homecoming Week, where the spirit and participation of the entire school stood out.
Mrs. Michels, her favorite teacher, has been an inspiration with her dedication to community involvement. Through high school, Rylee has grown out of her comfort zone, becoming more outgoing and learning the importance of being true to herself.

Gracie credits Dawn Brewer and Ms. Tussey as her biggest influences, “I would say one of my biggest influences is Dawn Brewer. I was accepted into the CEO program and Dawn is a business women and someone I look up to. CEO has taught me so many things and that program has made me way more confident in my future. Mrs.Tussey has also influenced me a lot and I am so grateful I have had so many classes with her, I absolutely loved her classes, and I will always be glad I took them! “
