Good Afternoon BGS Parents!
I am excited to announce that the Christmas Programs will be held this year. However, instead of 2, we will have 4. The Christmas Programs will be held on Thursday, December 16th in the BGS Gym. Doors will open for parents 30 minutes before start time. The schedule is as follows:
Kindergarten - 9am
1st Grade - 10am
2nd Grade - 12:30pm
3rd Grade - 1:30pm

Red Hill Jr High Lady Salukis will begin play in the Teutopolis regional against St. Anthony on 11/30 at 7:15 in first round of regional play.
Red Hill High School Lady Salukis will play Martinsville on November 18 at 6 pm. Please note the time change.
Attn Senior Parents: A Josten's representative will be here on Wednesday, November 17th during high school lunch periods to take orders for senior announcements & other senior items. Information has been emailed to parents & paper packets have been mailed home as well. All seniors, regardless of whether you plan to order or not, need to meet with the representative that day for cap & gown measurement information!
Reserved seats for the 2021-2022 high school boys basketball season will be on sale to last season's ticket holders on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 through Tuesday, November 23, 2021. You may call 618-945-2521 or appear in person to obtain your tickets. Cost of the tickets are $40.00 per seat. The reserved seats will be available for Boys Varsity Basketball only. The reserved seat tickets will not be honored at any tournament hosted by this school.
Any remaining regular season reserved seat tickets not sold will be offered to the general public starting Monday, November 29, 2021.
General Admission Season tickets will also be available for Boys Varsity or Girls Varsity. The cost is $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for students per pass.
It's a close race for the BGS Food Drive!! The last day for donations is
Monday, November 15th. Our goal was to reach 5,000 canned food items and 1,000 pounds of pet food, we met one of our goals today!! Please send in those canned items on Monday to help reach our other goal. Totals for today are as follows:

The BGS Food Drive/Pet Food Drive will continue until next Monday, November 15th. The food collected will be donated to the local food pantries and the Lawrence County Humane Society. Please help us reach our goal of 5,000 cans and 1,000 lb of pet food. The current standings are as follows: 1,625 canned goods and 442 lbs of pet food

Fine Art Friday! 🎨
Lilly Weston has been selected as the Red Hill Art Department's weekly artist. Lilly is currently taking Painting and Drawing I. She created this artwork using charcoal and Dwayne Johnson as her portrait reference.
"This was a super fun artwork and I loved watching her develop it. Lilly creates art at school and home. She loves to create mixed media works, especially collage. I can't wait to see what else Lilly creates this year!" -Mrs. Taylor

Winter sports pictures will be taken November 12th.
Picture retakes for RHJSHS will be on Friday, November 12th beginning at 1:00 pm. Any student needing a picture retake or any students who were not here for the first picture day, need to plan accordingly for pictures on that day.
A Josten's representative will be at RHJSHS on November 9th to meet with all seniors and sophomores during 9th pd. study hall. Students should make plans now to stay for study hall that day. Seniors will be discussing graduation items & sophomores will be discussing class rings. Seniors will meet at the beginning of study hall & then sophomores will be released to the cafeteria by announcement after seniors are done.

Lady Saluki Basketball is set to play in the Cowden Herrick Beecher City Thanksgiving Tournament.

Fine Art Friday!
Addie is a current 8th Grade Art Student. This project was created using watercolor. She chose an interesting landscape and created this misty forrest. Addie has shown interest in all different art forms and is very eager to learn new skills in her art class. She loves to paint in watercolor and acrylic at home too. #rhhsart #fineartfriday
